Alison Doody

Alison Doody is an Irish actor and model. Born on 11th November, 1966. Alison Doody first made a movie debut as an actress and Bond model with the film A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she was as a character in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. Doody portrayed Nazi sympathizing archaeologist Elsa Schneider. Siobhan Donnevan as A Prayer for the Dying (1997), Charlotte Taffin (1988) and Rebecca Flannery Major League II (1994) were other characters. Doody began modelling after being approached by an experienced photographer. The result was an impressive professional career as a model for commercials. Doody did not wear the glamour of thongs, nakedness and nudity in her modelling career. She was cast in a minor role in the film Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill following the fact that she was spotted by the casting director. Doody appears as a part of John Willis Screen World's Vol. 3 as one of the 12 promising actors in 1986. 38. Doody is only 18 when she played Doody in the film A Prayer for the Dying (1987), starring Mickey Rourke, is the youngest Bond girl who has a name to her. A Prayer for the Dying (1997), starring Mickey Rourke, also featured a smaller role as IRA Siobhan. Doody had an unspoken role as Archibald Craven's spouse Lilias when she appeared in his film of a dream, the 1987 adaptation from The Secret Garden. She played Sapsorrow in the episode of Jim Henson's fantasy show The Storyteller, opposite John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She played opposite Pierce Brosnan, in the 1988 film Taffin. In the following film, she played her greatest role in the film Taffin as Austrian Nazisympathiser and Archaeologist Doctor. Elsa Schneider playing alongside Harrison Ford. Doody acted with Sean Connery, who played the character's father. In the year 1991, Doody played alongside Jonathan Pryce in British mini-series Selling Hitler inspired by the publication fraud, also known as the Hitler Diaries. She later moved to Hollywood. The actress later became Flannery her agent, as well as partner for Major League II. She was chosen to be an alternative to Cybill Shepherd who was once L'Oreal's spokeswoman. Doody was part of The 2003 British comedy The Actors. Michael Caine was her character in a celebration for an award. The year 2004, she appeared alongside Patrick Swayze alongside a TV adaptation of King Solomon's Mines. Also Doody was as a character in Benjamin's Struggle (2005), which was a pamphlet that described the Holocaust. Doody played a small role in Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). Later, she appeared as a guest in RTE's medical drama The Clinic and was set to be the lead actress in a remake of the classic horror film The Asphyx but the project later stalled. Pam Jefferson was her character in the E4 comedy Beaver Falls for two seasons. The show also featured her in We Still Kill the Old Way (2014). In November of 2018, she received the Almeria tierra de cine award and she received the honor of a star on the Almeria Walk of Fame.
